Kindergarten 2025 Orientation
🌟 Welcome to Kindergarten – Class of 2025! 🌟
Starting Kindergarten is more than just the first day of school — it’s the first step in an exciting new chapter of your child’s life. Whether this is your first time sending a little one to school or you’ve walked this path before, this milestone is filled with big feelings — excitement, pride, and maybe a few butterflies (for both children and parents!).
Kindergarten is where lifelong friendships begin, where curiosity blossoms into a love of learning, and where your child will discover just how much they are capable of. Here at Liberty Elementary, we are committed to creating a safe, joyful, and nurturing environment where every child is seen, valued, and encouraged to shine.
To our new families: We promise to partner with you every step of the way.
To our returning families: Thank you for trusting us again with the most precious part of your world.
Together, we will make this year full of learning, laughter, and growth — and memories that will last a lifetime.
We are excited to welcome our newest Liberty RedHawks! Families of incoming Kindergarten students for the 2025–2026 school year are invited to attend our Kindergarten Orientation. You will meet our principal, teachers, and staff, learn about our programs, and tour the school.
Please note the following:
Orientation begins at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 2nd— please arrive on time so the fun can begin!
To ensure everyone can comfortably enjoy our wonderful classrooms, we kindly ask that no more than two adults attend per child.
If you're unable to attend with your child, please reach out to kcurti@nyackschools.org by Thursday, August 14, 2025—we're happy to help make other arrangements!

🌟 ¡Bienvenidos a Kindergarten – Clase de 2025! 🌟
Comenzar Kindergarten es mucho más que el primer dÃa de clases: es el primer paso en un nuevo y emocionante capÃtulo en la vida de su hijo(a). Ya sea la primera vez que envÃa a un pequeño a la escuela o que ya ha vivido esta experiencia antes, este momento está lleno de grandes emociones: entusiasmo, orgullo y quizás algunas mariposas en el estómago (¡para los niños y para los padres!).
Kindergarten es donde comienzan amistades para toda la vida, donde la curiosidad se convierte en amor por el aprendizaje, y donde su hijo(a) descubrirá todo lo que es capaz de lograr. AquÃ, en Liberty Elementary, nos comprometemos a crear un ambiente seguro, alegre y acogedor, donde cada niño(a) sea visto(a), valorado(a) y alentado(a) a brillar.
Para nuestras familias nuevas: Prometemos trabajar junto a ustedes en cada paso del camino.
Para nuestras familias que regresan: Gracias por confiarnos nuevamente lo más preciado en su mundo.
Juntos, haremos que este año esté lleno de aprendizaje, risas y crecimiento — y de recuerdos que durarán toda la vida.
